The Right Bank Account for Your Trust
Creating a living trust or family trust is a smart way to help make sure your loved ones are taken care of after you’re gone, and to help them avoid a complex, expensive legal process.
Whether you’ve chosen a Revocable trust or an Irrevocable trust, Ridgewood Savings Bank is here with the bank account you need.
What You’ll Need
First, drop off your original Trust instrument agreement and with the Trust’s tax ID number (EIN if applicable) at any branch and our law firm will review the information. We’ll call you to set up a branch appointment for all the Trustees to come in and open the account. Each trustee must be present at the branch and must bring the following:
- Photo ID
- Social Security number
- Proof of your New York State address
Trustees must also bring the original trust agreement, and if it is an irrevocable trust, the trust’s tax ID number.
