As a community bank we are committed to meeting the banking and financial needs of all our customers. We have a number of services in place to improve access to our products and services.
All Ridgewood Savings Bank branches have been designed to help make banking accessible to our customers. We are committed to ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local accessibility laws.
Our personal bankers are happy to read and explain appropriate materials to our customers who want help opening products/services or conducting financial transactions. Stop by or call your local branch for an appointment.
Magnifiers are available to our customers to conduct bank transactions or complete important bank documents.
Large Print Statements
Bank statements are available in large print fonts upon request.
Raised Line Large Print Checks
The Bank, with our check partner Harland Clarke, offers Sight Checks® for our visually impaired customers. All lines on the check are raised above the surface of the paper and all printing is larger than a normal check. Customers can order these checks through their local branch.
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
We utilize audio output ATMs at all of our branch locations. Plug a headset into the audio jack at any of our ATMs and you can easily access your accounts by listening to private spoken instructions. Headsets are available at all branches during regular banking hours.
Access your accounts by using our automated Telephone Banking service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Call 877-690-0784 and follow the prompts.
Providing a meaningful online experience for all of our customers is important to us. We are always working to enhance our website to increase accessibility and usability. Our accessibility efforts are based on the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Levels AA and include.
• Optimizing our website to work with screen reader software such as JAWS
• Assigned descriptive text for images
• Sufficient color contrast
Newer browsers tend to provide more display options to make content accessible. We recommend using the most current versions of computer based technology applications and browsers as they may work better with assistive technologies. On mobile devices, we recommend TalkBack for Android devices and Voice-Over for the iPhone and iPad.
